Can I wear a jockstrap as everyday underwear?
Yes — and a lot of people do. Our jockstraps are made from a 95% cotton, 5% spandex blend: soft, breathable, and built for all-day wear. The waistband sits firmly at your natural waist, and the pouch provides front support without bulk.
The back is open by design. That's the point. Whether that reads as everyday underwear or occasion wear is entirely up to you. Some guys live in them daily; others save them for moments that deserve attention.
What's the coverage situation?
Front: full coverage via a supportive pouch. Back: open — cheeks fully exposed, that's the jockstrap silhouette. There's no panel, no seat, no extra fabric at the rear. That's not a flaw; it's the fit.
If you're looking for something with rear coverage, this isn't it — and we'd rather you know upfront.
Gym, under pants, or out on their own?
- Under pants or shorts: Works great. The open back means no bunching or extra fabric, which some people specifically prefer for the gym or under fitted trousers.
- On their own: Built for it. Pool, locker room, dance floor, a house party where the playlist is doing the work — all valid.
- At the gym: Yes, with the caveat that the open back means the waistband is visible above most waistbands. That's a feature or a bug depending on who's behind you.
Sizing tip
Sizing is based on your natural waist measurement, not your pants size. If you're between sizes, size up for comfort or size down for a snugger fit. Full size charts are on each product page.

Is the mesh see-through?
Yes — mesh is inherently semi-sheer. The jerseys are 100% polyester open-weave fabric, which means they're lightweight and breathable but not opaque. How much shows through depends on what (if anything) you're wearing underneath and the lighting you're in.
If full opacity matters to you, plan on layering something underneath. If showing skin through the weave is exactly what you had in mind, wear it as-is.
Do I need to wear something under it?
Not required — but here's how different approaches read:
- Nothing underneath: Skin shows through the mesh. Intentional, bold, and very much the vibe the jerseys were designed for. Best for events, nightlife, or anywhere the dress code rewards confidence.
- A bralette, crop top, or tank underneath: Creates coverage while keeping the mesh texture visible on top. Good for daytime, festivals, or mixed-dress situations where you want the look with a bit more modesty.
- A full layer underneath: The jersey reads more like a statement outer piece. Works as a layering shirt over a fitted tee for a sporty editorial look.
Fit and silhouette
The jerseys are cropped and boxy — the hem sits above the natural waist on most body types. Body length runs 22"–26" depending on size. The v-neck collar is soft and keeps its shape. This isn't a fitted athletic jersey; it's a fashion piece that borrows the silhouette.
For reference: a size M has a 24.5" chest width, 23.25" body length, and 9" sleeve length. Full measurements by size are on each product page.
What's the crop like — does it show my stomach?
Almost certainly yes, depending on your torso length. The cropped cut is intentional. If that's not what you're after, sizing up will add a small amount of length, but these jerseys aren't designed to hit the hip — that's the whole point of them.
