we didn’t have a blueprint. no investors, no advisory board. just two gay brains, a little cash, and a very loud idea. we weren’t trying to build a “brand.” we were making the kind of clothes we actually wanted to wear out. the kind that get stared at. the kind that start conversations. the kind that get you into a little trouble.
we launched thinking, “if we sell 10, that’s wild.” and then you showed up. and you kept showing up. every order felt personal. it still does. you didn’t just buy a shirt. you validated the chaos. you said yes to being bold, weird, sexual, proud. you kept this thing alive.
people told us to tone it down. change the name. make it cleaner. more marketable. more digestible. but YES HOMO was never meant to be digestible. it was meant to be felt. it was built for the gays who like attention. for the ones who feel hot and know it. for the ones still learning how to. for the flirts, the freaks, the soft boys, the sluts.
not everyone will get it. we’re not trying to be for everyone. but if you get it, you’re one of us. and we’re not going anywhere.
